Background
K & K Partners was founded by Marlene Funk Kreiner in 1997 to provide customized recruiting and consulting services, initially for clients in the Financial Advisory Services, Environmental and Hi-Tech areas. Since 1991 Ms. Kreiner has focused on recruiting professionals for the FAS (Forensic Services, Litigation, M & A, Restructuring, Valuation, Sustainability and Environmental) Practices of Big 4 (Big 5, Big 6) firms, as well as several boutique firms. Non-consulting principal company clients have included Kodak, Waste Management, broadcast industry ownership groups, and non-profits.
Before opening her own firm, Ms. Kreiner worked for a company that primarily specialized in telecommunications searches. During her tenure, she opened two new divisions; an Environmental Search division and a Financial Services Search division. The latter specialized in placing expert witnesses for practices in Litigation Support, Valuation, Bankruptcy, Mergers and Acquisition, Construction as well as other types of Financial Services professionals required by their clients.
The geographic area of our expertise extends nationwide and includes all U.S. markets. We have performed searches all across the country including, but not limited to, the following cities: Manhattan, Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Houston, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Los Angeles, Minneapolis and San Francisco. As noted above, our roster of successful searches includes upper level management positions both in small, private companies as well as large public ones.
Recently, Matt Kreiner, the second "K" in K & K Partners moved from a behind-the-scenes role to full-time contribution in the company . Continuing to adapt to new client needs and expectations, the company also added an NYC office, headed by Neal Noble.
